The World Health Organization (WHO) has published this Friday the new edition of its lists of essential medicines, which include new treatments for various types of cancer, insulin analogues, new oral medicines for diabetes, new medicines to help people who want to quit smoking and new antimicrobials to treat serious bacterial and fungal infections.
