Mérida has hosted the Training Day on “Shared profits with biosimilars”, an activity contemplated in the agreement signed between the Government of Extremadura and the Spanish Association of Biosimilar Medicines (BioSim).
Ceciliano Franco, managing director of the Extremadura Health Service, explained that “the collaboration model is that the savings achieved by the SES with the use of biosimilar medicines revert to the health system, either in training doctors or in improving equipment and services that use them.”
