The Spanish Society of Medical Oncology (SEOM) and the Spanish Association of Biosimilar Medicines (BioSim) have signed an agreement to promote collaborative initiatives in order to reinforce knowledge of biosimilars to both professionals and oncology patients.
Within this framework, the first activity has been carried out, the creation and launch of a video on biosimilars aimed at patients entitled “Biosimilars in Oncology: What are they and what do they provide to patients?”, which focuses on giving know the demanding tests that biosimilars must pass before they are marketed to guarantee their quality, efficacy and safety.
