The ethical principle of justice in the NHS is discussed below, with special reference to the ethics of the costs of biosimilar medicines, in attention to the special importance that, on the one hand, the universalization of care has in this area and, on the other, another, the limitation of resources, since both principles characterize, as is known, public health services in the context of the so-called welfare state, whose content constitutes one of its fundamental pillars, together with education and social services in its broader sense (including dependency care).
