Funcas, a think tank dedicated to economic and social research, organized a colloquium on how the development of biotechnological medicines in the last 30 years has opened great opportunities for therapeutics, as represented by biosimilar medicines.
It had the participation of Encarnación Cruz, director of BioSim; María Jesús Lamas, director of the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS); Javier Bachiller Corral, Head of Section of the Rheumatology Service of the Ramón y Cajal Hospital in Madrid; and Laura Pellicé, director of Public Policies and Institutional Relations at AMGEN, who were presented by Félix Lobo, Professor Emeritus at UC3M and director of Economics and Health Policies at Funcas.
